The coaches are rivals on The Voice and will do anything to take their team to number one. And with Guy Sebastian and Delta Goodrem’s teams performing in the final this week, it looks like the competition is hotting up between the long-time friends.

The singers have both spoken candidly about their past relationship, with the Australian Idol winner revealing on the show that he went on a few dates with Delta back in 2003.
But now the ‘Born to Try’ singer has threatened to expose some of Guy’s secrets from their time together – if it means she can get one up on her old friend!
According to 9Honey, Delta said in an interview: “Guy and I use to watch Harry Potter together when we were 17 years old and hold hands occasionally.”
“I haven’t brought up the time he vomited in the garden from like drinking too much,” the singer revealed. “I haven’t brought up any of that stuff. I might have to wait until later in the Lives to really bring up some stuff I’d like to.”
Guy confirmed in an interview with WHO magazine that they were “never girlfriend and boyfriend” and is now happily married to stylist Jules Sebastian.
The couple share two sons, Hudson, 7, and Archer, 5.
But Guy and Delta go way back and have known each other since they were kids, and this sort of friendly competition seems to be part of their relationship.
While their chemistry on The Voice is undeniable, her playful, jokey behaviour with Guy – and other male contestants – has gotten Delta in trouble, with some saying she’s a bit of a flirt.
“There’s always room for another good-looking guy on my team,” she said on the Channel Nine show last year.
But fans have slammed this flirty behaviour, saying her comments are inappropriate.
“The way Delta treats male contestants she thinks are attractive is kind of creepy and it’s getting really old,” one person commented on Twitter. “Oh my God, just sit down, Delta. Stop objectifying him,” another said.
While Delta it still with her musician boyfriend, Matthew Copley, it’s only natural for her flirting with fellow coach Guy and their close relationship to cause a bit of a stir in her own love life.
Recently, Delta and Matt stepped out in Sydney and seemed to be engaged in a tense moment, as they arrived at the Sony music studios.
The last time Delta shared a happy, loved up photo of them together on Instagram was in January, six months ago.
Last week, Yahoo! Lifestyle also reported that Delta was likely to attend the Logies solo, as the event is known for having a very strict guest list.
“The Voice coach is more than likely to walk the red carpet alongside her co-stars like Guy Sebastian rather than boyfriend, Matthew Copley,” the news site said.
It means he’ll also miss out on seeing Delta perform at the event.
