After weeks of speculation that she would leave the show in the final week of filming, Kylie made her dramatic exit from The Block in Sunday night’s episode.
It was an emotionally taxing week for the 37-year-old, who fled to her hometown of Cairns for a short visit only a few days prior after she became aware of an alleged cheating scandal.
While she ultimately returned to finish renovating the unfinished spaces of her house alongside her husband Brad, she has stormed out once again—and this time, it’s for good.
After receiving feedback from the judges for her outdoor areas that she was unhappy with, an upset Kylie told Scotty to “wrap it up” as he passed on the feedback.
As Scotty refused to stop, she muttered profanities under her breath, telling Brad: “I hate this man so f**king much,” in reference to the longtime host.
As the final scores were revealed, she quietly told Brad that she was leaving, walking off into the night.
“I’m not wasting my time here anymore. I’m not. We’re not.”
With concerned crew following after her, the mother-of-four threatened to break their cameras before taking off her shoes and running off down an unlit country road.
“Kylie, please. We just want you to be safe,” a concerned The Block crew member is seen pleading with her.
Eventually, the controversial contestant hopped into a car with her husband where she revealed she was quitting the show for good.
“I don’t want to come back for auction, I don’t want to come back and have to deal with it. I don’t. I literally don’t,” she tells him as they drive away from the site
Fast forward to the following morning, and Scotty Cam confirmed the sad news that the couple had officially departed Phillip Island with just one week left in the competition.
The update comes just a week after she caught Brad behaving inappropriately with fellow Blockhead, and Kristian’s wife Mimi.
Prior to that, Maddy and Charlotte had hinted at the sad situation live on the radio.
At the time, the Sydney sisters did not share any names or talk too much about what happened as they didn’t believe they were “the right people to speak on it.”
“We don’t want to speak on it specifically because it’s people’s real lives at stake, and we weren’t obviously there, so we don’t know full details,” Maddy told HIT WA’s Allan & Carly.
Now, all the details have been revealed.
What happened between Brad and Mimi?
Kylie caught Brad flirting with Mimi after the contestants had a few drinks to celebrate the end of the week.
“I said some pretty inappropriate comments,” Brad admitted to the camera. “I was flirting with Mimi.”
Kylie was asleep on the couch next to Brad and Mimi when she woke up and heard him tell Mimi that he “would follow [her] OnlyFans.”
After everything went down, Kylie began to ask Brad: “How am I even married to you?”
“I deserve SO much better,” she said, describing the situation as “absolutely sickening.”
“I actually feel disgusted, and how little I mean to him is really sad.”
Why did Kylie leave The Block?
After her flooring extra consult a fortnight ago, the producers found her truck in the Aldi carpark but not her, with Scott Cam, revealing that she was missing.
It was then revealed that Kylie had left The Block and gone home to Cairns to see her family as she couldn’t deal with what went on between Brad and Mimi.
Brad then found a video on Kylie’s phone, explaining why she left.
“I’m saying goodbye, I can’t be on national television with having my marriage breaking down,” she said.
“I’m going home and I can’t say I’ll be returning. You can talk to Brad about the details but unfortunately, I can’t do it anymore.
“I don’t need to always be made out to be crabby and the bad guy anymore. Thank you for the opportunity and I’m sorry I couldn’t stay until the end, I’m just not strong enough anymore.”
While she did return a day later, she departed again permanently the following week, this time with her husband in tow.
