A Bachelorette favourite will bow out early in the fight for Angie Kent‘s heart after a personal tragedy forced him to quit the show.

Sadly, the unnamed frontrunner lost his grandmother while filming the reality TV series.
A source on-set told The Daily Mail that a producer informed the contestant of the tragic news off-camera, prompting him to fly home immediately for the funeral.
What’s more, a heartbreaking scene where the mystery contestant relays the news to Angie was allegedly filmed.
However, whether or not the conversation will be aired on the Channel 10 show remains to be seen.
“The news sent shockwaves through the show, but everybody understood and respected his decision to go and be with his family,” the insider told The Daily Mail.
This isn’t the first and only shock exit in this season of The Bachelorette Australia.
In as early as the second episode, Angie booted Noosa councillor, Jess Glasgow, after he made inappropriate remarks to both herself and the other women on the set of the series.
In the same episode, Warwick Adams quit after he was forced to wear a chicken suit.
What’s more, a source exclusively told New Idea that several of the men in the mansion haven’t connected with the loveable blonde.
“Producers were begging the boys to approach Angie and fuss and fight over her. They would say ‘this show is about getting time with Angie!'” a former contestant was quoted as saying.
Unsurprisingly, the stress of the walkouts took it’s toll on Angie.
The source also said the usually lighthearted reality tv star was having a hard time on set.
Poor Angie!
The Bachelorette airs Wednesdays and Thursday at 7:30pm on Channel 10
