Controversial Sydney property developer Salim Mehajer has been arrested.
The former deputy mayor of Auburn has been handcuffed and taken into custody, according to a statement released by Channel Nine.
A Current Affair will show footage of the arrest tonight.
Reporter Alison Piotrowski said, ‘Tonight, you’ll see the controversial deputy mayor handcuffed, arrested and taken into custody.’
