Former MasterChef judges Matt Preston and Gary Mehigan are set to lead the stars who will be joining Channel Seven in 2020.

The culinary duo’s new show, Plate of Origin, is just one of several programs that was given the green light at the network’s annual upfront event on Wednesday.
Teaming up with their fellow foodie, Manu Feildel, Matt and Gary’s new show will see international teams battle it out to see which cuisine reigns supreme.
According to the network: “This worldwide food fight will pit cuisine against cuisine, plate against plate, cook against cook.”
One of television’s most iconic shows, Big Brother, will also make a comeback next year, complete with a reimagined house and new set of rules for a fresh generation.
Hopeless romantics will also be pleased to see that Australia’s most successful dating show, Farmer Wants a Wife, will also be returning to Seven in 2020.
Unlike other dating shows, the rural romance version has resulted in nine marriages and 19 babies in Australia, as well as 147 marriages and 280 babies worldwide.
Other fresh titles for the network include The All New Monty: Guys and Girls, starring Sam Frost and Adam Dovile, as well we Pooch Perfect, hosted by Rebel Wilson.
Mates on a Mission will also see buddies Shane Jacobson, Todd McKenney, Kris Smith and Brian “BT” Taylor travelling the globe to take on extreme challenges.
The diverse range of programming is part of Channel Seven’s plan to deliver more big shows and more big stars that are geared towards the 25 to 54 age group.
Seven West Media Managing Director and CEO James Warburton said: “I’ve been clear from day one that we’re executing a content led growth strategy.
“To that end we’re investing 30 per cent more in our tentpole programs and franchises,” he said.
