Leah’s MasterChef Australia journey started when she secured the last apron of the competition following a nail-biting cook off, and the tension is only beginning for this home cook as the competition heats up.
A theatre manager from Melbourne, at 22 years old, Leah is the youngest in the competition.
With her strength in sweets, Leah cites Heston Blumenthal as her inspiration, and she is passionate herself about intricate desserts and molecular cooking.
Also inspired by Jamie Oliver’s philosophy for food and family orientated share plates, Leah says she loves nothing more than big grazing tables of beautiful food.
Leah says she copes well under pressure, so she should fit in well in the MasterChef kitchen!
Following her MasterChef journey Leah dreams of opening her own theatre restaurant featuring a fine dining menu.
