If you think you know who is behind the wolf costume on The Masked Singer, you may be in for a surprise, with Jason Donovan making a very telling move.

The former Neighbours icon and eighties pop heartthrob is following the Instagram account for the hit Channel Ten show, adding fuel to suspicions he is featuring as one of the masked performers.  Why the UK-based favourite, who has lived permanently in Britain since the early 90s, would be following an Aussie TV show is anyone’s guess, but it hardly seems a coincidence.

His name has already been thrown into the ring as a possible candidate for the wolf character. A clue given for the celebrity’s identity were photos of Kylie Minogue and Holly Valance, who both also starred on Neighbours.

Jackie O even noted, ‘That voice almost sounds like Jason Donovan.’

The masked performer also revealed he was ‘well-known years before I was successful’, to which Dannii Minogue noted, ‘If we’re saying they might have been on Neighbours, Jason’s dad was famous…’

Whether or not Jason is on the show as the wolf – or another character – remains to be seen. But the strongest speculation continues to mount that the creature may actually be Robert ‘Millsy’ Mills.

Radio producer Leon Sjogren tweeted a photograph of himself and the wolf, and tagged  the singer’s name in the snap.

The producer from Fox FM’s Fifi, Fev & Byron show posted the photo to Twitter and tagged Australian actor and singer Rob Mills as the Wolf.

There was no getting away from the blatant spoiler as Leon captioned the Twitter photo: “Me with @RobMillsyMills earlier today. #MaskedSingerAU.”

Rob appeared on the first season of Australian Idol, he also played Neighbours‘ former villain Finn Kelly.

And whether or not Leon had guessed his identity, it seemed that viewers of the show agreed the wolf was Rob, with many taking to Twitter to voice their predictions.
