Well while it can be a fiddly dish for some to make with lots of steps and ingredients, a savvy home cook has worked out a super simple way to make them – in her slow cooker!
Sharing on the fabulous Slow Cooker Recipe & Tips page on Facebook, slow cooker fan Cheryl revealed her clever technique – and you only need a handful of ingredients.Posting on the popular Facebook page, Cheryl whips up the cracking dish by simply placing raw peeled prawns, cream, cream cheese, white wine and minced garlic to her slow cooker. She then seasons and cooks on low for four to six hours – adding sliced mushrooms an hour before the end for even more flavour.Cheryl says you can even add bacon or veggies for another dimension, but we think it sound delicious the way it is!The recipe has been given the big tick of approval from other slow cooker fans.‘Looks lovely must try this one,’ said one. Added another: ‘I made this and hands down, the best garlic prawns I’ve ever had.’Said a third: ‘I was worried the prawns would be tough after cooking for so long but they were perfect.
