Not familiar with the Michelin Guide? The Michelin star system, created in 1900, was a simple little red guidebook created to help encourage more motorists to take to the road and stop off and enjoy delicious meals as they go. The guide has grown to include over 30,000 restaurants and has sold over 30 million copies. For international travellers, in particular, it can be a difficult decision on choosing one without a guide, if you’re after a ranking system try the Australian Good Food Guides Chef Hat’s. As the Michelin Star rating system is yet to hit Aussie shores, we decided to write a list of all of the Sydney restaurants that are Michelin Star standard.
