Married At First Sight star Andrea Thompson, 51, has shared a raw update following her time on the social experiment.
Taking to Instagram, the 51-year-old posted an emotional video explaining that while she was “supposed to be posting to her Instagram,” she is finding it difficult.
“I get really shy,” Andrea said. “I don’t like people looking at me, so why did I go on MAFS?”
She continued: “Anyway, I’m here and I’m trying. I’ll share some more and I’ll try to be braver. I’ll see if I can do this.”
The reality star was quickly inundated with messages of support from friends and fans alike.
Bestie Lucinda, with whom she shared a screen, penned: “You’re beautiful and brave. I find the talk to camera stuff hard too xx.”
Her good friend Tim, also from MAFS, added: “You’re doing great.”
Meanwhile, Andrea’s former on-screen groom Richard Sauerman, 62, shared his support, writing: “You’re brave Andie ✌??.”
Andie’s brave confession comes five days after her MAFS ‘husband’ debuted his new relationship.
Sharing a photo of his partner Margie to Instagram, Richard wrote: “Date night – looking weirdly like twins,.”
Fans were quick to congratulate the 62-year-old, while pointing out his stark similarities with Margie.
“Why do they have the same smile ?,” one commented.
“You look alike, that’s for sure. Happy for you, you deserve happiness Richard, you’re a good man,” another added.
A third queried: “Siblings or dating?” To which Richard responded with: “??.”
Andrea and Richard’s MAFS journey started off strong but fizzled after a few fights, and the couple amicably decided to part ways.
