Diane Kruger is lamenting the loss of someone very near and dear to her that took both she and the family by surprise.
Though Diane’s ten-year relationship with Joshua Jackson wound-up in July of 2016, the heartfelt message doesn’t go out to him, but her now late stepfather, Wolfgang Bieneck.
Taking to Instagram, Diane made the announcement of the passing of her stepfather on 8 November 2016.
Kruger is known for her sterling acting career in Hollywood as she currently works on her 2017 film, IN The Fade, directed by Fatih Akin. The film is about a man who survives the Armenian genocide in the Ottoman Empire before setting out to find his twin daughters, whom he learns might still be alive.
She took to Instagram with a saddening message and shot of Wolfgang with her mother, Maria-Theresa Heidkrüger, “Thank you for making my mum so happy and bringing peace to our family. R.I.P.”
