It’s the show so top secret and controversial, it wasn’t given a title until the very end of 2016 – and it’s safe to say Bride & Prejudice lives up to every bit of its dramatic hype.

In the show’s first episode, audiences met 18-year-old Courtney and 20-year-old Brad – two high school sweethearts who’ve been together for five years.

Brad’s mother Sherrie is adamant the couple shouldn’t get married, but it’s not just due to age, as she reveals
to New Idea.

On the show, Sherrie is extremely vocal about Courtney’s fondness for cosmetic procedures, which started at the age of 16 with lip fillers.

‘She’s 18 and she’s already had work done to her face.  If she doesn’t have the money, she throws a tantrum and  her mother pays for it,’  Sherrie says.

Brad’s outspoken mum also made the claim in the first episode of the scandalous new show.

‘I met Courtney when she was 13 at school… She’s a spoilt brat,’ Sherrie says. ‘When you get lip filler
when you’re 16 years old,  it’s too much!’

While Courtney is the first to admit that ‘I get my lips done’, Sherrie maintains there’s  a darker side to the teenager.

‘I never said a word I couldn’t back up throughout the whole program,’ Sherrie boldly states.

She also lifts the lid on Courtney’s hidden agenda for being on the show.

‘I don’t think she went  into this show with good intentions. It was all about how Courtney was going to look good and how she was going to improve her acting career,’ Sherrie believes.

‘She wants to be the  next Kardashian!’

Jumping in to defend herself, Courtney says Sherrie isn’t exactly an angel herself.

‘She’s really a very hard person to get a long with,’ she says.

‘The things she’s said about me are awful… really hurtful. It’s awful to hear things like that – especially from a mum. You’d think she’d have a bit more respect or decency. Wow.’
