It’s been almost 10 years since Better Homes And Gardens host Adam Dovile and his wife Lisa Lamond wed in a beautiful ceremony, and it’s only been up from there for the happy couple.
Since they exchanged vows in front of family and friends at a gorgeous estate in Victoria, Adam and Lisa welcomed two daughters, Arabella and Ruby, completing their gorgeous family of four.
The pair shot to fame after winning season two of House Rules in 2014, and Adam has since landed a spot as a presenter on Better Homes And Gardens.
Now, Adam is trading his DIY tools for dance shoes as he joins the cast of Dancing With The Stars.
And the reason he chose to go on the show with absolutely no dance experience under his belt? His family, of course.
“My wife Lisa and my two girls, they really wanted me to do it,” Adam told New Idea exclusively ahead of his DWTS debut.
“My girls love dancing. It’s usually me sitting at a concert watching my girls dance. They are so excited to watch me.”
With the tables turned, Adam jokingly confessed he’s “worried” his daughters will critique his performances.
“They’ll watch and say: ‘Why were you doing that? Why did you do that? What are you doing with your hands?'” he laughed.
When he’s not filming and renovating – or now dancing! – Adam cherishes family time, which usually falls on a Sunday as Lisa previously told body+soul magazine.
“Sunday is family day. Adam is really hands-on when he’s here. His time is precious with the girls and it’s about fun and experiencing different things,” she said in the 2019 interview.
