Australia’s most eligible TV bachelor is ready for his love life to soar to new heights.
WATCH: Bachelor Jimmy Nicholson talks about his family
The latest man to be handing out roses is none other than 32-year-old airline pilot Jimmy Nicholson who is of New Zealand and Fijian heritage but currently resides in Sydney.
Unfortunately, due to the COVID pandemic, Jimmy was set down from his job in the sky.
But he’s landed firmly on his feet and is ready to find love.
Speaking to The Daily Telegraph’s Sydney Confidential, Jimmy revealed he is more than ready to find that special someone.
“I feel very fortunate to be the Bachelor 2021. I am ready to open up my heart and meet someone.” the 32-year-old said.
“I hope to meet someone with similar values that I can have fun with and that shares the same zest for life as myself. The Bachelor franchise has produced many success stories and I hope to be the next.”
And it looks like Jimmy has found the fairytale ending he was after.
“I am happy to say that I’m in love now,” the reality star told New Idea earlier in the month, while also revealing to Now To Love that he “noticed (the winner) the first night (he) saw her”.
Jimmy also told the latter publication that he and his winner are already planning for the future, which definitely involves kids.
“We definitely both want a family. But we’re both realistic, we’ll take it at a realistic pace,” the pilot explained. “I’m 32 now so I’d like to have a family in the next five years.”

Jimmy also, like many Bachelor boys and girls, used to dabble in the world of modelling and was a part of Chadwick Models in Sydney.
But flying was his first love. In an interview for Year13 back in 2014, the 32-year-old opened up about what drew him to becoming a pilot.
“My dad is a pilot, not a commercial one, but he worked for QANTAS and so did my grandfather. My uncle is also a pilot… so i grew up with it all my life. It’s a bit of a family tradition.”
And now he’s found his co-pilot.
